Graveside services for John Wesley Mulkey, age 87 of Steele, AL will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Chandler Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, 4460 Chandler Mountain Road, Steele, AL. Bro. Joe Nix, Bro. Ricky Smith, and Bro. Danny Battles will officiate.

Mr. Mulkey was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Mulkey; son, Terry Mulkey, daughter, Sherry Mulkey; parents, Albert and Bertha Mulkey; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers.

He is survived by son, Philip Mulkey, Daughter-in-law, Deb Jones Mulkey; grandson, Calvin (Lana) Mulkey; granddaughter, Keisha Garrison; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Mulkey, Jeff Graves, BJ Price, Nick Deweese, Lee Abercrombie, and Danny Battles.

Thanks to granddaughter, Keisha Garrison, and cousin, Sandra Williams adn my wife Deb Mulkey for all the help.

Thanks to ACG Hospice, especially, Madison Vaughn Smith and Laura Cannon – they were tops day after day. Thanks, also, to everyone for all the calls, texts, visits and prayers, they meant so much to our family.
