Jackie Harris

Mrs. Jackie Harris, 83, of Attalla, AL passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Umphrey and Rev. Jason Hallmark will officiate with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Attalla AL. The family will receive friends prior to service from 10:30 am until 12:30 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harris was born February 1, 1939 to Frank and Lillian Muncher and was a longtime resident of Etowah County. She was of the Church of God faith and portrayed a virtuous woman as found in Proverbs 31. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and working in her flower garden. Time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was among her favorite.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Harris, Sr., 7 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Jimmie (Lisa) Harris, Jr.; grandsons, John (Kayla) Harris and Jared (Amanda Nichols) Harris; great grandchildren, Tanner and Kensley Harris and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be John, Jared and Tanner Harris, Kevin Nance, Patrick Bright and Robby Hill.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the ICU, 3rd Floor and ER Staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
