A visitation for Jack will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama. Following the visitation there will be a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Collier Butler funeral Home. Rev. Carl Becker will officiate.
Jack Levi Richardson was born November 4, 1954, in Gadsden, AL. to Jack L. and Betty Richardson, who has preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Pearson, sisters, Robin (Carl) Becker, Pamela (Daniel) Jenkins, nieces, Hillary (Jordan) Wansley, Lauren Rapp, nephew Jason Cash, three grandchildren, one great-grandson and a grandniece and grandnephew. He is also survived by Charles and Gwynell Richardson and numerous cousins.
Jack lived in the Gadsden area and graduated in the Class of 1973 at Southside High School. He began his career working with his father learning and perfecting his skills in carpentry. Over the span of his life he helped to build hundreds of homes in Etowah and surrounding Counties.
He was a huge fan of Classic Cars which he enjoyed with his dear friend, Johnny Reed. Levi will be remembered as a gentle man who dearly loved his family.
Pallbearers will be Jason Cash, Jordan Wansley, Daniel Jenkins, and Johnny Reed.
