Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 07, 2018 at 11am at Collier-Butler Chapel.
Minister James Dudley will officiate
Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.
Ms. Cloud was born in Guntersville, Alabama on April, 07, 1927. She was a graduate of Guntersville High School and worked for the City of Guntersville Water Board until 1950. Ms. Cloud, also known to family and friends as “Dodo” married Bill Cloud in 1949, and moved to Gadsden in 1952. She devoted her life to being a wife and mother. She lead a Christ centered life, she was the rock of our family and will be greatly missed. She was a charter member of Rainbow Church of Christ.
Ms. Cloud was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends. Ms. Cloud enjoyed being active in her children’s lives and their friends were always welcomed. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends, traveling to different places in the world,
and Georgia football.
Ms. Cloud was preceded in death by her husband William T. Cloud; parents, Dayton and Nell Gilbreath; sister, Sarah G. Carlisle; and grandson, Dayton Watts.
Survivors include Tom and Polly Cloud, St. Simons Island, Georgia; Elizabeth and Johnny Wheeler, Gadsden, Alabama, Tim and Amy Cloud, Gadsden, Alabama.
Grandchildren, Tommy Cloud, Katie Cloud, Betsy and Chris Mitchell, Meg and Randall Huff,
Karen and Blake Rodenroth, Kathy and Vince Lloyd, Summer and Jesse Putman,
13 great grandchildren, Tripp, Dot, Neil, Bert, Reece, Scarlett, Molly, Anna James, John, Saylor, Tillman, Davis, Eliza, and the anticipated birth of Delta next month.
Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family wishes to express special thanks to caregivers, Melody, Charlotte, Lois, Ann, Alacare Hospice Staff, and Dr. K.J. Shah.
The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, July 07, 2018 from 9:00am until 11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.
