Burial will follow at Williams-Southside Memorial Park.
Mrs. McCreless was born in Calhoun County, Alabama but had resided in Etowah County for most of her life. She attended both Ohatchee and Southside High School.
She was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church. She had a voice from God and was known as a beautiful singer. Mrs. McCreless was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Edgar McCreless; son, Michael McCreless; parents, Raymond Vanzant Harrell and Etta Estelle Gardner Harrell; brothers, Floyd Harrell, Jack Harrell, Phillip Harrell, Pete Harrell and Clois Harrell; sisters, Bessie Harrell Dean, Joyce Harrell Lee,
and Jude Harrell Berry.
Mrs. McCreless is survived by her sons, Steven (Vivian) McCreless and Daron (Deedra) McCreless;
daughter-in-law, Jerri McCreless; grandchildren, Patrick McCreless, Alex (Megan) McCreless,
Holly (Jonathon) Ford, Joseph (Tala) McCreless, Kathryn (Justin) Smith, Jeff (Amanda) Mathis,
and Kaci Mathis; great-grandchildren, Mary Frances Ford, Rosalie Dearing Ford, Ivy Hope Ford, Thomas Mayhew Ford, Farah Jane McCreless, Vivian Elaine Smith, Nathaniel Jude Smith, Alyssa Marie Davis, Braxton Lane Davis and E.J. Mathis; brother, Allen Harrell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Joseph McCreless, Braxton Davis, Lance Reeves, Sonny Lee, Jonathon Ford and Nick Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons, Patrick McCreless and Alex McCreless.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
or the American Heart Association.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and care technicians at
Riverview Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, January 08, 2023 from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
