Douglas Leon Leatherwood

Rev. Douglas Leon Leatherwood, better known as Pastor Lee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 26, 2020.Pastor Lee has been in ministry for over 20 years, but was currently serving as Children’s Pastor at Dilworth Church of God, where he was adored by many. Pastor Lee loved God and loved people and he served his church and community with all his heart.

Lee enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and he loved all animals.

Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Douglas and Teresa Leatherwood; siblings, Sarah and Danny Leatherwood; and niece, Sarah-Grace Leatherwood.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie Leatherwood; sister, Holly (Damien) Whisnant, brother, Tommy (Tasha) Leatherwood; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be two memorial services for Pastor Lee.

Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Flow Church in Ashville. Visitation with the family will be from 5-6pm and service will begin at 6pm.

Sunday, July 12 at 3pm at Dilworth Church of God.
