Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Noble Hill Church for Mrs. Dorothy Parrish Hill, 76, Rainbow City, who crossed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, Jan. 3, 2010. Bro. Jamie Talley will officiate with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mrs. Hill was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was the best MawMaw in the world and will be missed forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Hill; parents, Delmas M. and Lexie Stanfield Parrish; and brother, Wilburn Parrish.
She is survived by her sons, Earnest E. Hill, John W. Hill and J. Marvin (Kellie) Hill; granddaughters, Meagan R. Hill and Chyna J. Hill; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
