Doris Marie Pollard

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Union #3 Cemetery in the Ball Play community for Mrs. Doris Marie Pollard, 76, of Ball Play community. Mrs. Pollard passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 after an extended illness. The Rev. Bruce Jenkins will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Odis; and parents, Paul and Mary Lou Gilley.

She is survived by her sons, Stan, Tony (Cheryl), Scott (Glenna); Grandsons, Brian, Brad, Levi, and Joshua; Granddaughter, Mandy Pollard; Brother, Randall (Barbara) Gilley; Sister, Brenda (Mike) Estes; Nephews, Russ, Randy and Craig Gilley, Jay Estes; Nieces, Sandra Gilley and Robyn Marie Estes.

Doris was a retired lunchroom manager at Hokes Bluff High School.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union #3 Cemetery Fund, 9245 Centre Road, Gadsden, AL 35903.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service at Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in Gadsden.
