Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Black Creek Church Cemetery for Donna Rhea Phillips, 59, of Gadsden, who passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. Rev. Charles Beshears will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Donna was raised in the Black Creek Community. She was of the Baptist faith and was baptized in 1968. Donna graduated from Etowah High School in 1974 and attended Gadsden State Community College. Donna was an Industrial Specialist for more than 30 years with the Department of Defense-DCMA. Donna was well known for her sense of humor, candor, selflessness and love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Geneva Funderburg and Sallie Phillips; and father, Bobby Phillips.
Donna is survived by her parents, Myron and Don Holland; sisters, Patty (Edward) Leonard and Donna (Walter) Williams; niece, Amanda (Eddie) Brewer; great-nephew, Austin Brewer; great-niece, Lauren Brewer; and a host of family and friends. Special recognition to her cousin, Debra Coleman, and treasured friend, Don Price.
Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth and Richard Funderburg; Ray, Tiffany, and C2 Cargill.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
