Donald H Tucker Sr.

Memorial Service will be at 3pm Friday, December 16, at Collier Butler Chapel for Donald H. “Don” Tucker, age 77, of Southside, who passed away on December 11, 2016. Kerry Mayes will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home and Cremation services will direct services.

Don was a Master Electrician and Contractor. He was a member of the Electricians Union Local 136. He was an avid Golfer and Crimson Tide Fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Grace Tucker, sister Sandra Tucker Wagner, and special cousin Larry Tucker.

He is survived by his wife Tammy R. Tucker; Children Donnie Tucker, Tommy (Serra) Tucker, Ronnie (Dawn) Tucker, Michael (Leslie) Tucker, and Michelle (Keith) Johnson; Stepchildren Tyler (Shela) Mitchell, Whitney (Jerome) Pace, and Hunter Mitchell; 10 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; brother Garry “Pete” (Sharon) Tucker; Sister Kay (Bill) Geiger; aunt Lorene Brown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers are his friends and members of Briarmeade Golf Course.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Camelia Hospice.

The family has requested no flowers and would prefer memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1until 3 pm.
