Darrell Lee Daniel

Darrell Lee Daniel, age 77, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday. March 18, 2025, at 12:00pm at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial will be at Duck Springs Cemetery.

Darrell was a 1964 Eagle Scout. He retired from Welders Union Hall Local 48 in 2012.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who shared his skills with many of the young men in his community. He is preceded in death by his parents Burney L. and Eleanor Daniel; great granddaughter Aspyn James Gibbs; and sister-in-law Pat Daniel.

Darrell is survived by his wife Debbie Daniel; daughter Jennifer Talley (Jason) Pryde; grandsons, James Avery (Michaela) Gibbs and Jakob Daniel (Gracie) Gibbs; great grandchildren, Konner Lucas and Kameron Daniel Gibbs; and brother Darwin Daniel.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Aveanna Hospice of Gadsden, Karen Gibbs, the Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department and Denise Hester.

The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
