Catherine Evelyn McDonald, age 75, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Monday December 23, 2019.
A Graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Forrest Cemetery. Rev. Ken Casey will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Catherine was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in journalism. She was an employee of BellSouth for many years. She had also been Docent of Birmingham Museum of Art as well as an usher for Alys B. Stephens Center. She loved reading, travel, and painting.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Thomas McDonald and Pauline O'Barr McDonald Forrester.
She is survived by her cousins and many friends.
In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
