Carolyn Gregory

Carolyn Gregory is survived by her daughter, Billie Gregory Faulkner and son-in-law, Darrel Faulkner. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Shannon Williams and Kristen Phillips and grandson-in-laws, Shane Williams and Austin Phillips. She additionally leaves a legacy of five great-grandchildren: A.J. Phillips (16), Mia Williams (15), Asher Williams (13), Cruz Williams (11), and Aidan Phillips (9). Carolyn Gregory also leaves behind a sister, Del Jourdan of Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billie L. Gregory; her parents, Joe and Phillipa (Romo) Galindo; her sisters, Lila Gomez, Vera Botello, Delphine Huffines, and her brothers, Tony Galindo and Earnest Galindo.

Carolyn Gregory was born in the small town of Cyril, Oklahoma and moved to Gadsden after marrying Bill Gregory. She worked at Riverview Regional Hospital (Holy Name of Jesus Hospital) in the business office for over 50 years. Carolyn loved to cook for her family and she devoted her entire life to helping raise her daughter, Billie and two granddaughters, Shannon and Kristen. She was blessed to be able to watch her great-grandchildren grow up and she enjoyed attending their soccer games and dance recitals. Carolyn had a servant’s heart as she always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Visitation for Carolyn Gregory will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home with memorial services directly following.
