Bryan was born in Sylmar, CA and moved to Gadsden as a youth. He graduated from Southside High School Class of 1987 and served in the United States Navy .
He was an avid outdoorsman: hunting, fishing, kayaking; golfing and an Alabama Football Fan.
Bryan was the definition of a manly-man, a strong fighter and a fierce protector of his family and friends.
Bryan was best known, and will always be remembered, for his great ability to grill and was proud to share with everyone.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Norma Allen and son, Jace Michael Connolly.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Hannah (J.T.) Mathis, Seth Connolly and Macey Connolly; grandchildren, Gunner and Bodi Mathis; spouse, Michelle Connolly; aunts, Gloria Allen, Varol Ballestero, Melody Morgan and Gerri Thomches and Uncle, Roger Allen; special friends, John and Dawn Breeden, Charlie Bryant, David and Savannah Gable, Scott and Kelly Gossett, Bobby and Shannon Barron, Shane and Amanda Hancy, Harlon and Denise Campbell and Redneck Yacht Club.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Nurses, Staff and Doctors at St. Vincent's East Hospital.
A memorial visitation for Bryan will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Following the memorial visitation there will be a celebration of life and remembrance at 6:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brad Mullinax officiating.
