Brenda Kaye Vaughn

Brenda White Vaughn entered into heaven on Monday January 11, 2021. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed . As sad as it is for us , she is now with our Heavenly Father and will never suffer again. She was a tiny ball of fire that fought very hard in everything she did . She loved her children more than anything in this world and would let everyone know how great they are. Everyone that knew her or even just met her had a friend for life. She was a loving and caring mother , BB , sister, Aunt B and friend. Her smile would light up the room.

Brenda was born in Gadsden, Alabama on May 16th , 1952. She graduated from Gadsden High School class is 1970. She attended Gadsden State Community College School of Cosmetology. She worked as a Hairdresser for 40 years , and was known around town for one of the best in her profession. She loved her job and truly felt she was ordained by god to this profession to make people to make people feel better about themselves. She wanted everyone to be happy. She loved Jesus and gave him all of the glory for her blessing on this life.

A celebration of life will be held this summer ( details to follow later ) . In lieu of flowers donations are to be made to uab.edu/ help UAB fight Covid 19.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Lynell White and Irene White.

Brenda is survived by her children Leah Thornhill (Jose) Riyadh , Saudi Arabia. Molly Banks (Dre) Gadsden, Alabama and Bailey Vaughn Orlando, Florida . Grandchildren Omar Alanazi, Ahmad Alanazi, Nora Alanazi and Liam DeFeo Riyadh , Saudi Arabia . Kingston Mayo , Jackson South Carolina. Sisters Glenda Mayo Glencoe, Alabama and Lana Jordan ( Bobby) Glencoe , Alabama. Special Nieces and Nephews that she loved dearly , Misty Mayo Jackson , South Carolina . Dusty Mayo Rome, Georgia. Crystal Mayo Columbia , South Carolina. Reece Wagnon(Anna) Odenville, Alabama Riley Wooten (Cody) Hokes Bluff. Special great nephew and nieces Logan Sexton , Trevor Blevins , Mika Mayo , Gabby Mayo Brayden Mayo . Great great niece Wrenley Mae Blevins. Aunts Shirley White Teal and Dortha (Shug) Knight. Numerous cousins and very special best friends Jeanette Sims and Gina Mayo .
