Bonnie J. Murphy

Mrs. Bonnie J. Murphy entered the gates of heaven on Thursday-January 21, 2021. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Camp Nelson Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Rev. Richard Nix will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home Announcing.

Mrs. Murphy was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Rose Sunday School Class. She was employed for many years with The Baptist Book Store/Lifeway. She was a great prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry L. and May Lee Kurtz Rice; Husband, James D. Murphy, Sr. and brother, Charles H. Rice.

Survivors include her children, Jan Galbreath and husband Gary and James D. Murphy, II and wife Terri; grandchildren, Joshua Misenhimer and wife ShaRonda; Mary Melissa Harpring and husband Patrick; John Galbreath and wife Kelsey; Alex Galbreath and wife Jordan and Evan Galbreath and wife Crystal; great grandchildren, Joshua Misenhimer, II; Seth James Misenhimer; Lillian Jean Harpring; Stella Joy Harpring; Georgia Rose Harpring and Lily Erin Galbreath.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Southisde Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Amedysis Hospice; Rose Sunday School Class; Dr. Cesar Fernandez and Staff and Dr. David Tharpe.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 22, 2021 at Colllier-Butler Funeral Home from 12 pm until 2 pm.
