Bonnie Elizabeth Hagood Keenum, 71 years young, has gone to be with our Dad and our Heavenly Father. Visitation for Mrs. Keenum will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel Thursday from noon till 2 p.m. and followed by services at 2 p.m. to be officiated by Brother Dale Butler and Brother Freddy Waldrop. Burial will take place at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.Mrs. Keenum was a resident of Southside for over 40 years, a graduate of Gaston High School Class of 1961 and attended the Valley Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a child care worker at the Rainbow First Baptist Daycare Center and is fondly remembered by so many of the children she cared for.Mrs. Keenum was preceded in her journey by her husband, Bobby Keenum; her parents, Ruby and James Hagood; her brothers, Charles and Howard; sister, Bernice Tucker; sisters-in-law, Dot and Francis Hagood; nephews, Stan Hagood and Craig Tucker; and niece, Tina Tucker.She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Robert) Jackson; son, Mark (Jan) Keenum; grandsons, Brandon (Hollie) Patterson and Lee Jackson; and most beloved great-grandson, Keenum Lane Patterson; sisters-in-law, Janice McGinnis, Patsy Reed, Stephanie Keenum and Mary Hagood; brothers-in-law, Kenny and Jerry Keenum and Steve Read; many nieces and nephews; and treasured friend, Gail Jenkins.Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brandon Patterson, Lee Jackson, Michael Jenkins, Robert Jackson, Jimmy Hagood and Sam Roberts. The family and friends will gather at the home of Mrs. Keenum's grandson, Brandon Patterson, following burial.
