Barbara Joan Staton

Barbara was born in New York, and had resided in Alabama for most of her life.

She loved gardening and had always said that her garden was her church. She was an amazing cook, enjoyed baking, and loved to spend time with her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anthony Staton; daughter: Teresa Turner; parents, Michael Paul and Dorothy Ann Sullivan.

Survivors include, sons, Robert Staton, and Michael Staton;

Grandchildren, Casey Staton, Corey Staton, Blake Staton, Haley Staton, Devin Staton, Chase Staton, Meghan Turner, and Jimmy Turner. Brothers, Bernie Sullivan and Barry Sullivan.

Numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Robert Staton, Corey Staton, Blake Staton, Jimmy Turner, Frank Langdon.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hope Hospice.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday morning from 10-11am prior to service at the funeral home.
