Mrs. Agnes Charlene Litwin, age 62, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Thursday, March 09, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at The Church of God of the Union Assembly. Brother Joseph Crider will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. The family will accept friends from 12:00PM until the hour of the service at the church on Wednesday.
Mrs. Litwin was born and raised in Gadsden, AL. She attended Gadsden High School. Agnes enjoyed cooking, dancing, reading, solving puzzles, playing pool, and Native American art. Above all, Agnes enjoyed time spent with her family. She will be remembered as a ray of sunshine to her family. Her love for the Lord was unwavering. Agnes was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and sister. She is deeply loved and will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertie Mae Shockley; step-father, Edwin Carson Shockley; sisters, Linda Griffith Gaylor, and Louise Griffith Richardson; and brothers, Raymond Michael Griffith, Carl Griffith, and Leonard Griffith.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Amy Litwin and Allison Litwin; son, Chris Litwin; grandchildren, Chance Litwin, Aaron Litwin, Nicole McLaughlin, Isaac McLaughlin, Gabriel Smith, and Eli Litwin; great-grandchildren, Abin Morgan; twin sister, Darlene Martin; nieces and nephews, Jason Boyd, April Dodd, Michael Martin, Denise Thrower, Pam Cook, John Watson, and Timothy Watson; and special friends, Tommy Maxwell and Joseph Howell.
Pallbearers will be Chance Litwin, Chris Litwin, Aaron Litwin, Timothy Watson, and Tyler Worley.
