William "Bill" Edward Carter

William was born on August 10, 1951, in Warren County, MO the son of James and Erna Lee (Hueffmeier) Carter who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on January 29, 1972, in Wright City, MO to Sandra Platt. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church in Portland, MO. Bill retired in 2016 from A Civil Group as a surveyor. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Carter of the home; two sons, Jonathan Carter (Melissa) of Holts Summit, MO and Christopher Carter of Fulton, MO; one daughter Angela Hadley (Brad) of Plantation, FL; one sister, Nancy Vandeloecht (Bruce) of Portland, MO; six grandchildren, Tylar (Alison), Lauren (Andrew), Chloe, Clara, Clark and Colten and one great-grandson, Dallas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO.
