Mary Francies Brewer

Mary was born on October 10, 1940 in Callaway County, MO the daughter of Nearis and Zula (Hook) Browning who preceded her in death. She was married on March 8, 1957 in Callaway County, MO to Andy “Gene” Brewer who preceded her in death on March 4, 2010. She was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church where she was a member for several years. Mary worked at Hams Prairie General Store and also had a home daycare for numerous years before going to work at Stride Rite. She retired from Production Products (formerly Stride Rite) in Fulton, MO. She enjoyed sewing, going to the casino and playing cards, specifically pitch and hand/foot. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with them.

Survivors include: three daughters, Tammy Borage (Leigh) of St. Louis, MO, Angie Hassman (Mike) of Salina, KS and Mary Martin (Todd) of Fulton, MO; two brothers, Delbert Browning (Sandra) of Boonville, MO and Ralph Browning (Carol Agnew) of Boonville, MO; one sister, Daisy Wambordt (Frank) of Wooldridge, MO; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Browning of Boonville, MO and Lynn Browning of Sedalia, MO; eight grandchildren, Heather, Stacey, Brandon, Erin, Jessica, Lauren, Jeffrey and Andrew and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Russ Brewer; three brothers, Nearis “Fuzzy” Browning, John Browning and James Browning and three sisters, Lula Brownley, Betty Smith and Martha Redden.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Debo Funeral Home from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Private family graveside services will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MO.
