Linda Rae "James" Balding, 67, of Holts Summit, MO, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at St Mary's Hospital. Graveside service will be 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit, MO. Linda was born March 29, 1948 to Melvin and Agnes James, who preceded her in death, and her brother Melvin James Jr, and her sister-in-law Barbara James. Survivors include her children James Brent Meechan (Cynthia), of Reno; Jennifer Redmond (Justin), of Jefferson City; Marion Johnson (Danya), of Oregon and Justin Witzig, of Fulton, her siblings Joanne Jennings (Raymond), of Tebbetts, and Agnes Aller (Jim), of North Carolina, her grandchildren Brittnee and Savannah Meechan, Jeremy and Norma Witzig and Isabella Redmond, and her great-grandchildren Seven and Sadie Maher and Lucas, Jordon, Jaycen, and Connor Witzig.
Linda was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Holts Summit. Her kind heart and loving nature touched all she encountered.
