Jessie Lee Vaughn

Jessie was born on April 15, 1927 in Stephens, MO the daughter of James and Florence (Winn) Smith who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on June 2, 1945 in Fulton, MO to William Dean Vaughn who preceded her in death on May 6, 1991. Jessie was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Fulton, MO and an active member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary #2657 in Fulton, MO. Some of Jessie’s happiest times were spent at the cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks with her family, playing bingo at the VFW and also playing cards whether that be pinochle, pitch or poker.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Vaughn (Frances) of Fulton, MO; one daughter, Vicki Fritz (Terry) of Millersburg, MO; one sister, Marilyn Jatho of Fulton, MO; four grandchildren, Dustin Fritz, Jana Bush, Charles “Chuck” Vaughn and Chris Vaughn; eight great-grandchildren, Ava, Hayden, Nolan, Kayla, Tyler, Tayler, Shyann and Dallas and five great-great grandchildren, Alexis, Kinsley, Gavin, Corbyn and Everett.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MO.
