James Roger Wilson

Jimmy was born on May 16, 1944, in Mokane, MO and dedicated his life to providing for his family, his career as a Superintendent of highway construction for McMinamy, Brown and Root, Potashnick, Roberson and APAC. He loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and water skiing back in the day. He always had a huge garden and would share with his neighbors. He loved woodworking. He made wooden construction equipment pieces, fire trucks, cars, tractors and an ambulance for his daughter Jacqui when she worked for an ambulance company. He made wooden cutouts to decorate his yard at Christmas with lots of lights. He was very proud to be a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacqui McSpadden (Scott) of Batesville, AR; his siblings, Judy Dickrader (Kenny) of Jefferson City, MO, his step brother, Ronnie Hoffman (Joanie) of Grandview, MO, his half-brother, Ronnie Wilson; his grandchildren, Greg Judkins (Holly), Jaime Judkins, both of Cape Girardeau, MO, Wilson McSpadden (Maree) and Colten McSpadden (Katherine) both of Batesville, AR; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara J. Wilson; his parents, Arthur James Wilson, Oline Perrey Hoffman and stepfather, Ham Hoffman; his daughter, MaDonna Smith; and a great grandson, Rylan Scott McSpadden.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Debo Funeral Home from 10:00 am - 10:45 am with a Masonic Service at 10:30 am. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton, MO with Chaplain Chuck Wilson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wilson McSpadden, Colten McSpadden, Ben Judkins, Dillon Feely, Devin Feely and Dalton Feely.
