Gary was born on January 15, 1941 in Fulton, MO the son of Leonard and Aline (Gohring) Taylor who preceded him in death. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, MO and was also a member of the Callaway Odd Fellow Lodge 105 and Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge 868. On April 4, 1994, he retired from the University of Missouri, after working for several years in the maintenance department. Gary enjoyed spending time with family and fishing.
Survivors include numerous cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Loutzenhiser and her husband, Robert; his grandparents, Henry and Anna Gohring and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from Noon – 1:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson and Pastor Guy Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
