Frances was born on January 29, 1928 in Fulton, MO the daughter of Jesse and Lillie (Musgrove) Landers who preceded her in death. On February 27, 1948, she was united in marriage in Fulton, MO to Wayne Dungan who preceded her in death on April 30, 1991. Dolly was an active member of Southside Baptist Church, helping in the nursery and teaching Sunday School. She then started attending church at Ebenezer Baptist Church, and was a faithful member until her passing. In 1977, she retired as a nurse’s aide from Fulton State Hospital. After retirement, she enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, sewing, crocheting and helping with the March of Dimes. She treasured spending time with her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be missed.
Survivors include: two sons, Denny Dungan (Tammy) of Reedsville, MO and Bill Dungan (Donna) of La Vernia, TX; two daughters, Sharon Bell (James) of Williamsburg, MO and Marsha Muehlman (Mark) of Columbia, MO; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Dungan and Roger Dungan; two daughters, Kay Klick and Dorothy Salmons; two brothers, Raymond Landers and Arthur Landers and one sister, Ruth Rapps.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Crowson officiating. Burial will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MO.
