Ella Mae Williams

Ella was born on June 13, 1947, in Fulton, MO the daughter of Otis Sr and Nellie (Henderson) Byrd who preceded her in death. On April 19, 1981, in Fulton, MO she was united in marriage to Leonard Williams Jr who preceded her in death on April 15, 1994. She worked as a certified nurse’s assistant for over 30 years for in home healthcare. Ella was a true bargain hunter; she would not pass down a good buy while shopping or was always looking for deal at a garage sale. Her true passion was her family, especially watching her grandchildren play sports and cooking family meals. She always cherished everyone gathering and spending time together.

Survivors include: three sons, Michael Richmond of Columbia, MO, Randall Richmond of Fulton, MO and Franklin Richmond (Heather) of Kingdom City, MO; four brothers, Kenneth Byrd (Anna), William Byrd, Jerry Byrd and Gary Byrd; one sister, Ann Gross (James); two step-daughters, Brenda Brandt and Carolyn Brandt; eight grandchildren, Tyler Richmond, Jasmine Richmond, Tyronne Richmond, Rekia Richmond, Jamarion Glover, Miranda Richmond, Kendra Richmond and Myrakal Glover; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Russell Eugene Richmond; three brothers, Richard Byrd, Robert Byrd and Otis Byrd Jr; one sister, Carolyn Sue Fisher and one step-son, Roger Brandt.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev Gregory Durant officiating. Inurnment will be held in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO.
