Anna Ruth Allen

Anna was born on July 15, 1943, the daughter Paul Franklin and Alma Ruth (Reed) Horn who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage in 1960 to Harold Saling who preceded her in death on February 12, 1990. They had two daughters, Joyce in 1961 and Paula in 1964. Anna accepted Christ as her Savior in 2004 and was baptized in Richland Baptist Church in Fulton, MO.

Anna worked for over 20 years at the Fulton State Hospital as a Psych Aide, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a treasured and cared for person by her friends, family and coworkers.

We will miss her greatly, but this is only a short goodbye, for we shall see her again.

Survivors include: two daughters, Joyce Starling of Fulton, MO and Paula Leeke (Jim) of Fulton, MO; four grandchildren, Benjamin Starling, Michael Saling, Jessica Zito (Simon) and Sonya Nigh; seven great grandchildren, Isabelle, Joslyn, Silas, Rosalia, Jade, Gianluca and Gino; four sisters, Brenda Moreland, Sandy Maples, Wilma Mickey and Betty Mace; three brothers, Billy Horn, Kenny Horn and Walter Mickey. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul David Horn and Ruben Ray Horn; one sister, Donna Horn and one grandson, Alexander Leeke.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the funeral home with Robby Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Carmel Cemetery, Fulton, MO.
