My sincerest condolences, Ateh Marolette, Tyler, and Isabelle. When I would see you all together as a family, I saw a UNIT, a beautiful bond of family love! May God rest his soul, as he journeys toward Heaven.  Tita Marette will welcome him too! May God provide you solace in knowing he is no longer in suffering.

We have been Rick's neighbor for the last 9 years!  He was a kind man and a kinder neighbor.

Rick was always a beacon of joy and laughs. He used to baby sit me and his younger brother and Rick was like the fun older brother I wish I had. We got each other’s sense of humor and we’d joke about the silliest stuff and chat for hours on the phone. I got the pleasure of attending his wedding and watching him grow a beautiful family with Marolette. I miss him deeply and I’m so blessed to have known him.

Thank you Rick for being a great friend to my husband Alberto. We will all miss you.

I only knew Richard for a short time but I knew he was a good and kind person the times that me and Terry seen him we knew we loved him and his lovely wife going to miss him R I P

I remember meeting Rick for the first time, when he and Marolette were still dating. I was just a high schooler then, socially awkward, anxious, and not really great at carrying a conversation. Rick, however, was very kind and showed a genuine interest in getting to know me. I felt at ease for the rest of the dinner. After Rick joined our family, he continued to show me the same kindness, often asking me how school/work/life was treating me whenever we would meet. He was always happy to offer his support or lend a sympathetic ear. I'll miss our conversations and his generous spirit. Rest in peace, Rick. We love you.

His presence was a gift, and while his absence leaves a profound void, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his life. Rest in peace, Rick. You will never be forgotten.

I loved being adopted as the 5th Leerhuber in this amazing family!! After a night of Rick’s delicious cooking of chicken adobo and rice, he would ask Mars sometimes to bring some leftovers to school the next day so I could enjoy them for my lunch. So awesome!! Thanks Rick for feeding me. You were the best!! 😇🙏🏾🍽️🥰
