Philip was born August 15, 1929, in a small town in Italy. In 1939, he traveled with his older brother Frank to America to join his father, Giovanni. Philip worked as a tool and die maker, until he moved to California to work as a laborer in the construction industry. He met his beautiful wife, Florence Leo in Detroit, Michigan in 1950. They married in September 1950 and had two children, their son Philip Jr., and daughter Karen. After serving 18 months in the Korean War, Philip came home in 1953 to join his brother Frank at Arciero Brothers Inc. Arciero Brothers moved from housing to commercial construction, specializing in parking garage construction. Philip had a strong passion for life. There was not a day that went by that he was not out living his life. One of Philip's most prized business ventures with his brother was the opening of the Arciero Estate Winery in 1986. He loved spending time up at the Arciero Winery, checking vineyards, drinking the wine, and bringing boxes back home to share. He and his wife traveled the world with their lifelong friends. Spent days out in the sun enjoying sports fishing on his boat, traveling the world to hunt, and spending hours on the golf course because he said it was always business. Philip loved to be around people, if there was a social occasion he was always there. He was committed to making a life for his family but never lost sight of where he came from. He touched the lives of so many with his generosity and lovable spirit. Although Philip lived a very accomplished life he would tell you that nothing was a bigger accomplishment than his family. When Philip's grandchildren and great-grandchildren came along they were the apple of his eye and nothing was ever more important. Philip is survived by his brother Tony, son Philip Jr., daughter Karen, grandchildren Natalie, Landon, and Brittany, and his great grandchildren Gavin, Kendall, and Addison.
