Paul Reza

Paul entered this world in his family’s Buena Park home on February 28, 1943 to Joe and Jessie Reza.  Paul was married to Eleanor for 53 years before she passed in 2016. Paul was a strong, honorable, wise, and beloved father to three children; Ana Reza, Gabriel Reza, and Catherine Gonzalez. Paul also enjoyed the blessing of 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to being a long time Buena Park resident, Paul retired from his commercial contracting company in 1996 where he met many longtime friends and colleagues. 

We will forever remember Paul’s strong commitment to faith and family, straightforwardness, quick wit, dry sense of humor, and his overwhelmingly generous nature.

Paul is survived by his children Ana Reza (David Fowlkes), Gabriel (Adriana) Reza, Catherine (Glenn) Gonzalez, six grandchildren; Jonathan and Jacob Wilcox, Alexsis, Arisa, Pablo, and Elena Reza, and great-grandchild; Sincere Lafferty. Brothers Joe Jr., Jim, Albert, Ed, Richard, and Marcus; sisters Rosie Arce, Angie Morales, Mary Wartenberg, and Barbara Squires, and many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Proceeded in death by his wife, parents, brothers Ralph, John, Mike, Rudy, and Joseph E. Reza and sisters Connie Reza, and Annie Perez. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Viewing and Rosary will be streamlined May 28, 2020 from  4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., with Rosary beginning at 5:00 p.m.via OneRoom. A private burial will be held on May 29, 2020 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. A memorial Mass and gathering will be held at a later date.
