Patricia Ann Irwin

  Irwin, Patricia Ann, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on February 4th 1933.  She passed from this life, August 21, 2016.  For the last 30 years she made her home in Yorba Linda, Ca.   After marrying Robert E Mathis in 1951, her first three kids were born in Seattle, Washington.  Later, Mom moved her family to California where she began a long career working in the space program at Hughes Aircraft Co.  She loved the space program.  She later met and married the love of her life Jack R Irwin and two more kids were born.  Jack had four children from a previous marriage; Jack Jr, Jamie, Jill, and Janice.  Mom was devoted to her ever expanding family, she never bought fancy clothes, cars, or jewelry, but she loved to buy gifts and cards for her kids, grandkids, and great grand kids throughout the country.  She truly enjoyed communicating with all of her extended family via the telephone. She is survived by her 5 children, Carol (Rami Maleki), Ken Mathis (Yvonne), Kelly Mathis, Kathleen (Harvey Havoonjian), Douglas Irwin (Carole), Her extended family; Jack Irwin Jr. (Janette), Jill, Jamie and Janice, 24 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren
