Monika Morphis, 82, of Fullerton, CA, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Angel Morphis. She was born and raised in Ruckers, Germany and met her husband, Angel in 1956 who was stationed there with the U.S. Army. They married and soon after moved to the United States. They were stationed in various parts of the U.S. with their two sons and eventually ended up in Fullerton, CA where their daughter was born, and she lived there ever since. She worked in various jobs including the hotel industry as well as a dietary technician at Placentia Linda Community Hospital. She is survived by her three children, George (and his wife Sherri), James, and Angela (and her husband Ian). She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Stephanie (and her husband Joe), Jillian, and Erin, as well as her two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Sophia. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 am, Friday, July 8 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fullerton. Private graveside to follow.
