Michael Arthur Kelly

Mike was born on September 22, 1954 to Charles and Zilda Kelly in Vancouver, British Columbia. He then immigrated with his parents to the United States in 1956. After graduating from Anaheim High School in 1972, he went on to work in the machining industry with extensive knowledge in hard metals.

In 1976 Mike and his first wife had a son, Brandon S. Kelly and then in 1980 had their daughter Shannon M. (Mike) Acevedo. In 1998 Mike met Connie DeRosa, and they wed in 2007, going on to raise daughter Cherish L. Cassidy.

While Mike retired in 2019, he did not wait until then to enjoy life to the fullest. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends particularly while on a cruise, relaxing on a tropical beach or taking his 5th wheel camping at a beautiful National Park. He also loved fishing, shooting, tinkering in the garage, drag racing and finding a fresh pint at a craft brewery.

Mike was predeceased by his mother Zilda and his father Charlie. He is survived by his wife Connie; his brother, Pat and his sister, Robin; children Brandon, Shannon and Cherish; and his eight grandchildren Megan, Mason, Scottlyn, Nixon, Asher, Sophia, Emery and Orion; and an abundance of loving friends and extended family.

Services will be held on Friday May 20th, with more details to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of Mike.
