Louise Marie Gallagher LeBeau ascended to heaven on May 19th , at the age of 82. Louise was born in Anaheim to Stephen and Geraldine Gallagher and was the only daughter of four children. She attended St Boniface Elementary and Marywood High School. Louise was a brilliant scholar and a pioneer among women earning a degree from University of Southern California. After graduating she then attended San Diego State where she earned her teaching credentials and became a 4th Grade teacher. Known as the fastest girl in The OC, she could be seen cruising around in her 1958 Olds Super 88. This may have caught the eye of a young dentist she met at an alumni gathering named Donald LeBeau. They married in 1961 at St Boniface in Anaheim. After the family settled in Fullerton, she became a parishioner at St Juliana’s and worked to establish their first Sunday School Program in 1970. Louise was an avid pianist, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and searching for valuable antiques. She also loved horses and was active in the Connemara Pony Society. Louise is survived by her husband of 57 years Don; their five children Denise, Mark, Diane, Christopher, Jeanmarie; their grandchildren Morgan, Alexandra, Hannah, Jonah, Kevin, Isabelle, Samantha; and great-grandchild Harper Rose. Her Rosary will be held at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary on Friday 6/8 at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Anaheim Hills on 6/9 at 12:00 P.M. followed by the burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Reception to follow from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Don’s home in Yorba Linda. In lieu of flowers, you may consider a donation to “Louise LeBeau Fight On!
