Elsa Jean Trevena

Elsa Jean Trevena (Jean) at the age of 85, passed on Monday, November 19, 2018, in Yorba Linda, CA. Jean is gracefully survived by her brother Ralph Auer, daughter Paula (Harvey) Mazer, son Jeffrey (Laura) Trevena, son Tod Trevena, and daughter Corrie (Michael) Taylor.  She is Grandmother to Stephanie, Chelsea (Stephen), Christian, Ryan, Mikelle, and Giovanna and Great-Grandmother to Chloe, Kenzie, Eliana, and Ava. She is preceded in death by daughter Darra Trevena, sister Nancy Bedoe, and brother Jack Auer. Jean was born January 12, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois and with marriage, moved to San Diego. She loved California and moved to Orange County in 1964, where she remained. Jean worked at Cal State Fullerton, in the Placement Office, where she retired after 20 years. Jean was a devoted mother.  She loved children, and found special delight in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial mass will be held at 10am on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Laguna Niguel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boys Town at boystown.org.
