Claudette was born on March 7, 1937, in Frenchville, Maine. She married the love of her life, William “Don” Prouty on October 23, 1954. Claudette was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is absolutely adored by her loving family.
Claudette enjoyed taking care of her family most of all. She also loved old classic movies, vintage TV shows, reading, going for walks, and nature especially seeing butterflies and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed the occasional sporting event, especially those that involved her grandchildren.
Claudette is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Don Prouty in October 2014. Her children,
Harold (Denise), Keith (Janice) and Odette Singleton survive her. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive her.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 23, 2023, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 235 Pine, Fullerton, CA. In lieu of flowers, Claudette requested donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
