She was born on June 19, 1924 in Port Clinton, Ohio to Joseph and Mary (Gilian) Lukac.
Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, George Warner. She was a wonderful
mother to four children and leaves behind daughters Nancy Dougherty of Cedar Rapids, Ia., Sue(Paul)
Stisser of Broken Arrow, OK., Sandy (John) Hellyer of Midlothian, VA., and son Robert (Tracy) Warner
of Plainfield, Il. “Nana” was blessed with ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a
great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings John Lukac, Margaret Snow and Helen
Ahrens.
Ann was an avid golfer at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota and enjoyed organizing the ladies golf
groups each week. She loved her home and was a wonderful homemaker. Traveling to visit her children
and grandchildren over the years was so exciting to her. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of
Martyrs, Bradenton, Florida and attended St. Anne Catholic Church, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A special thank you to the staff and residents of Prairie House Assisted Living, Broken Arrow for the
loving care, laughter and memories this past year.
A funeral mass will be planned by the family at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs before Ann is laid to rest at
Sarasota National Cemetery.
