Tom was my grandpa and I would do every thing for him almost towards the end of his life I grew more distant from him but I still loved him he died 2 days after my birthday and I was playing on the trampoline with my friends and I felt like I was hit by a truck then my mom called me thinking it was my dad calling I went over but it was my grandma “Emma” and she told me what happened and I broke down in tears and I have missed him ever since it is currently 2025 I’m almost 14 and I still, miss him so much. I wish I could have spent more time with him. Amen to everyone

Dear family of Tom,
  My sincere sympathies to you. Tom was our locksmith FOR YEARS, at our rental in Ft Collins. He was a jewel; knew what to do, always fulfilling any job we needed, and always at a fair price. I will miss him. 
   He knew Bud—perhaps through softball—years YEARS ago play in in the evenings.

   I did not know of his passing, until I located him on “Safari” online.   
   Is there anyway someone can contact me re a situation we have?   He had the “history” of the 4 apartments we own. He did all the locks for us for 25-30 years.

“Keyhole Lockshop!”  I can still hear him saying that when he answered the phone.  He was the company locksmith when I worked for Horizon West.  He was good at his profession.  He solved so many lock problems for us.  We relied on his expertise.  He had that wonderful smile as seen in his newspaper photo.

Tom was my "go to" guy when I needed locks fixed or replaced. He always had a gentle manner and smile. He will be missed by his friends, family, and clients.

We at Brinkman Real Estate Management had worked with Tom since before I began there two years ago. He was “our locksmith.” Tom always had time for us and his work was always top notch. His enthusiasm for his work was infectious, and he was thrilled to explain anything he could about locks to anyone who was interested. But beyond that, he was a wonderful human being. He always had a smile and a good word for everyone, and his cheerfulness was a blessing. He will be sorely missed by our entire team.

My Uncle Tom was an amazing man with a huge heart.. He has taught me to be strong and believe in the Lord, he knew my pains and what I was going through , but he was always so positive that things would get better, no matter what God was always first In his life, and I admired him for that. He left a legacy of Gold, and a beautiful family that has apart of him in them… I will forever miss you , but never forget you, you have a special place in my heart. Thank you for being apart of my life . I love you and will truly miss your laugh, your kindness and your beautiful heart. R.I.P

I knew Tom through my husband,Mark Raubach. I met Tom when I met Mark in 1973. He always called me Sue when everyone else  called me Susie.  He was always such a happy, kind, generous man.  So easy to be around. Mark rented a house with Tom in the mid 70’s and one day I walked through the kitchen and it smelled horrible. I asked Tom what was going on. He said they boiled a chicken and then never ate it, ( not did they take it out of the pot, lol). 
Tom was a groomsman in our wedding and remained a faithful friend though the years. I loved him and I hope he and Mark will have good  times together with our Lord in heaven. 


I couldn't count the numbers of times I said "Tom is such a nice guy" Every interaction with Tom was so pleasant.  He would drop everything to help us with any lock issue we had.  One time he did a facetime with our daughter to walk her through taking a lock out so he could fix it for her.  I just know he went directly to heaven as he earned his spot.  Such a good man.  I will miss him. My husband Paul will especially miss him.  His love and acceptance of all people will be a guiding light for all of us to follow.


I worked with Tom at Mountain-n-Plains Property Management for years. He never once turned me down and always fit me into his schedule. I always said “ Tommy” every time i saw him but never knew that was his real name!  Heaven is a better place as he is one of a kind!!!
