Rogers was born on January 13, 1950 in Montgomery Alabama to Jean Clemmons (Womack) and Benton Rogers Collier II. Rogers’ father died an in action in the Korean War on September 27, 1952. His mother passed away on July 8, 2008 with her loving family by her side in Montgomery, Alabama.
In November of this year, Rogers love of his life and wife of 20 years, Kathleen Collier (McCormick) passed away in their home in Montgomery, Alabama. Rogers decided to move back to Colorado to carry out his last days before reuniting with his beautiful bride!
Rogers is survived by his brother, Robert Collier; sister and brother-in-law, Shevawn and Scott Barron; brother, Clifford Clemmons; daughter and son-in-law, Dawne and Curtis McCuiston; son, Benton Rogers Collier IV; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Nick Bernier; and son, Michael Eglin.
The family would like to send appreciation to Amedisys Home Health in Montgomery and Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins for their invaluable care and guidance for care of Rogers and Kathleen during their final days.
