Richard Harold Walters, 86, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Richard was born August 9, 1934 in New York to Harold and Mildred Walters. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in German and the Philippines. Richard was united in marriage to Roshenara Adie.
Richard raised Coy Fish in a pond in his back yard. He also raised Cockatiel Birds and built an aviary for them in his back yard.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Roshenara “Thelma” Adie; and son, George Gomes.
He is survived by his sons, Ken Gomes (Bibian) and Kieth Walters (Elizabeth); brother, Lee Walters (Barb); and grandchildren.
A graveside inurnment service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 8426 US-287, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525.
