Rebecca Anne Masten

Becca was born on January 19, 1984 to William and Michelle Miller at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO. She lived in Colorado her whole life and graduated from the now closed CollegeAmerica of Fort Collins as a medical/clinical assistant.

Survivors include her parents, her husband Kirk Masten and her three children, Orion Mercie-Henderson, 19, Ashton Masten, 15, and Braydon Masten, 11; brother Joshua (Michele) Miller of Pflugerville, TX and their four children, Madison Scarlotti, William, Jason, and Marisa. She is also survived by her aunt Frances Sagona of Fort Collins, Patricia Ann Henkelmann of Janesville, WI, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Becca was the love of Kirk's life and he will miss her forever. Her best friend, Kristen Beamer of Fort Collins, described Becca as the most loving and compassionate friend she has ever known. Becca was known for her inner and outer beauty, her lively and free spirit, her sense of humor and wit, and the fun, love, and laughter she shared with family and friends. She loved lilies and roses and had a lily tattooed on her left arm. She had a pet Axolotl "Mexican Walking Fish" named "Roger". She made jewelry, loved nature and plants, and was known for her gourmet cooking and her collection of stiletto high heels. Her mother describes Becca as "my hero", a person who had overcome many obstacles in life, was a pillar of strength, and beautiful in every way. She was also "Daddy's little girl".

Those who knew Becca would agree the words from the world-famous song by Don McLean are fitting, in that, "The world was never meant for one as beautiful as you".

A celebration of life for Becca will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Word of Life Lutheran Church, 3207 S Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80526. A reception will follow at the church.
