Patrick J. Hyatt, 58, of Loveland passed away on August 25, 2008 in Laredo, TX. He was born November 23, 1949 in Hood River, OR, to Carl J. and June I. (Schmitt) Hyatt. On March 15, 1968, he married Elaine LaRocca in St. Charles, MO. Patrick and Elaine moved to Loveland in 1973. For most of his career, Patrick was an independent truck driver, contracting through North American in the early part of his career. Patrick truly loved being a truck driver. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting (mostly elk). He also enjoyed tinkering with old cars. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hyatt of Loveland; a daughter, Sheila (Mike) Long of Prescott Valley, AZ; half-brother, Robert M. (Vickie) Hyatt of MO; and a half-sister, Margaret Hyatt of MO. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be held 12:00 â?? 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008, followed by the Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
