Patricia J. Batt

Patricia J. Batt, 77, of Loveland passed into the loving arms of the Holy Family on October 5, 2008. Patricia was born June 10, 1931 in Irvington, Iowa to John and Odeal (Hegarty) Eller. She graduated in 1950 from St. Cecelia's Catholic High School in Algona, IA. Patricia married Robert J. Batt in 1953 in Independence, MO.Patricia was a homemaker. She had been an active member of St. John's Catholic Church since 1975 . She enjoyed collecting angels and cherubs, bingo, crocheting, crafts, reading and spending time with her family. Patricia felt such a strong attachment to the Virgin Mary that she studied to become a Presentation Nun. Instead of following that path, she married Robert and started a family.Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents Odeal and John; brothers Lewis , John and Dennis Eller.She is survived by her daughter Roberta Moyer of Loveland, CO; granddaughter Maria (Jeff) Webb of Fort Collins; great-grandsons Patrick William O'Brien and Clayton Arthur Mayea of Fort Collins; brother Earl Eller of Utah; sisters Betty Rochleau, Elise (Clarence) Casey and Juanita Hanson all of Iowa.A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 4pm to 8pm at Resthaven Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at 10:0am at Resthaven Funeral Chapel with Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S.
