On Saturday, September 11, 2021, Clint passed away at the age of 89 due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease.
Clint was born on November 1, 1931 in Woodstock, VA to Olga Olin Lytton and Roberta Combs Lytton. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force. He joined during the Korean War and served as a tail gunner. Then he went to school to become an air traffic controller. While stationed in the Philippines he plotted all the air traffic control patterns for Southeast Asia, for which he earned a medal. He then served in the Vietnam War while stationed in Taiwan. He retired as a SMSGT in 1976. After retirement he kept busy with different jobs, working on cars and taking care of the house. He enjoyed spending time with family, and watching sports.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Lytton of Windsor, Colorado; daughters, Louann Lambert and husband David Wehrenberg of Maryland, Lisa Helme and husband John E. of Vermont, Lori Gentrup and husband Matt of Colorado; step children, Jennifer Daniel and husband Troy of Virginia, Christopher White of Colorado; grandchildren, Jenny Stewart, Tracy Fletcher, Kristen Lanham, John C. Helme, Braden Helme, Jacob Gentrup, Megan Mihaly, Kate Gentrup, Olivia Daniel and 7 great grandchildren and two sisters.
A private service will be held.
