Nancy Elizabeth Lott

Nancy Elizabeth Lott finished running her race on the 15th of June, 2023. She is survived by her two sons, Ben and Will, and her two dogs, Stretch and Sniffers. She also outlived two husbands, which she made me promise to put in here, as it was a major accomplishment.

Nancy grew up in Greeley, CO under the care of Charles and Irene, and with her brother Larry. She was adopted, a fact that was pointed out to her on more than one occasion. At one point during her adolescence, she was given the choice of golf lessons at the country club, or algebra in summer school. As far as we know, Nancy was never seen with a golf club in her hands.

Our Mom enjoyed reading, crafts, and horseback riding to name a few things. She was always willing to try something new, even if it was out of her comfort zone. As far as our family goes, she is still the only one to complete Space Mountain in Disney's Magic Kingdom for the original Nintendo.

Most importantly though, she was our Mom. She raised us the best she knew how, and in the face of much adversity, she did a pretty good job. She always told my brother and I that we didn't come with a set of instructions. She made up a very good set on her own, and she is dearly missed.

As per instructions, her remains will be mixed with glitter and launched off the deck of her beloved mountain home in a potato cannon. In lieu of flowers, do something nice for a stranger and never forget to appreciate the beauty around you.
