She recently celebrated her 85th birthday at her home in Green Valley, AZ where she enjoyed the stillness and contentment Arizona provided. Nadine was a long-term resident and businesswoman in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Born in Eads, Colorado on March 30, 1939, she was one of five children born to Merwin and Geraldine. She is survived in the hearts and minds of her older sister Wanda Davis, her three children Bradley Holter (wife Sky), Vandi Deines (husband Burton), and Sandra Holter; her grandchildren Brittany, Lindsay, Brandon, Abigail, and Olivia; and great-grandchildren, Marshall, Wyatt, Georgia, Brook, and Bryndle; along with her nieces and nephews and all those she impacted throughout her life. The companionship of her two poodles Dixie and Paisley, always brought a smile to her face and joy to her heart.
Nadine had a quiet reverence and faith in God, attending church and bible studies, placing her trust in Him. She calmly navigated the trials of life with grace and determination, often more concerned for others than for herself. She took great joy in being a mother and grandmother; time with her sisters (Patty and Wanda), her work relationships; traveling, flowers (yellow roses), animals, Blazing 7s slots, baking, and much more. A life well lived! Her family and friends will deeply miss her but will go forward with the memory of a woman who loved and inspired through the power of her kindness, generosity, bravery, strength, and compassion.
Please join Nadine’s family at a memorial service and lunch on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:30am at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, 4747 Marketplace Dr, Johnstown, CO. Burial services follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 8426 US-287, Fort Collins.
