Michael K. Mike"" LaMere

Michael(Mike)Kenneth LaMere, 48, of Fort Collins passed away May 30, 2012 in Loveland. He was born November 18, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT to Kenneth K. and Dorothy A.(Stone) LaMere. He worked for Albertsons for 20 years in Fort Collins and Wyoming. Mike was a kind, generous and funny person. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. Mike loved camping, hiking, fishing, and the outdoors and was very talented at taking photographs while enjoying the wonders of nature. Mike thoroughly loved being an uncle and was very loved and adored by his niece and nephews. He always gave them lots of kisses and hugs. He had tremendous fun with them, wrestling, playing, horsey rides, nerf gun and pillow fights. His family loved him very much. He always had a kind heart for all the children. Mike is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy LaMere of Fort Collins; his brother Mark LaMere, his wife Molly and his nephew Tyler of Fort Collins; sister Becky LaMere and niece Skye of Fort Collins; sister Lovena Keough, her husband Dutch and nephew Avery of Fort Collins. A graveside service will take place Thursday, June 7, 2012 11am at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 8426 S. Hwy 287. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michael LaMere Benefit Memorial Fund in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
