She was born on October 16, 1932 in Oakland, California to Mike Rocha and Georgina Supriand.
Myra grew up with a strong Catholic upbringing that continued through her entire life. She never missed a service, even making sure her husband Bob attended on special holidays.
Myra married Robert Gonsalves on December 22, 1950. Together, they had a wonderful and fulfilling marriage of 63 years. They enjoyed taking trips to their favorite “little big city” Reno, Nevada and always made time to have a martini in the evenings with each other.
Their marriage was special and unique. It always included a ton of laughter between the two of them. They were always by each other’s side which even included their love of bowling. They used to be part of many bowling leagues with family and friends.
Later in her adult life and throughout her retirement, Myra enjoyed line dancing 3-5 times per week. Myra developed many friendships along the way that she cherished.
Myra is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Gonsalves and her son Lawrence Gonsalves. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Riediger, grandchildren Monica Rainey, Brian McNealy, Lisa Bressler, and Nicole Rowe, and nine great-grandchildren.
