Laurie was born May of 1934 in Mount Vernon, New York to Hildegard Schmidt Seaman and Julius Seaman and spent her childhood in The Bronx, NY. In December of 1953, Laurie married an Air Force serviceman, Herb Eckhoff, and they resided in Morocco, Germany, and numerous states while raising four children. In 1972, they moved to Aurora, Colorado, eventually divorcing in 1990. Laurie was a secretary for Allstate for 20 years. In 2018, Laurie moved to Fort Collins.
Laurie is survived by children, Paul (Kammi), Eric (Sondra), Linda (Rod) Copeland and Mark (Hilarry); grandchildren, John (Leire), Erik (Monique), Hans, Anna, Madison and Evan; and great grandchildren, Julen and Alex. End of life plans are being handled by Allnutt Funeral Serive; there will not be a service.
